The real money comes from Lester's assassination jobs and the stock market, though plenty of players still rush them and leave billions on the table. Whether you're building from scratch or looking at GTA V Accounts for a faster start, the basic idea is the same: hold your cash, time your buys, and don't get greedy when the price starts climbing.
Save the big assassinations for later
Lester's first hit, The Hotel Assassination, has to be done to move the story along. That one can't really wait. After that, though, leave his remaining assassination missions alone until the main story is finished. It feels odd, because the icons are sitting there on the map, but waiting is the smart play. For The Multi Target Assassination, Debonaire is the pre-mission pick, and Redwood is the recovery buy after the hit. The Vice Assassination uses Fruit before the job, then Facade after. The Bus Assassination is different, since you normally wait until after the mission and buy Vapid while it's low. For The Construction Assassination, Gold Coast is the main investment before you start. Always use all three characters, not just Franklin.
