Jackal Hut- driving to hut/summer trail condition

Hello! I'm having a hard time finding information on the kind of vehicle needed to drive up to Jack hut, either on FS 755 or FS 715. We are heading there this week. Thank you for any info!

You will definitely need a high clearance 4x4 with low range. Ran that trail a few years back and would love to know current conditions if you guys make it up! Headed up that way with a group in a few weeks.

Hi Cschroeder220! It looks like your Jackal trip was recent, any updates on the road conditions? Either 755 or 715?

755 was in great shape, they had done some grading to make it easier. 4wd low range and good tires are mandatory. It's steep but not hard.

We drove up there last summer and a high-clearance vehicle was really helpful, especially on FS 755. Conditions can change quickly, so I’d check with the local ranger station before heading out.
