Climbing skins for Uncle Buds?

Post by grahamlove »

Hello,

Do you think climbing skins are necessary for Uncle Buds hut? Would the skies with scalloped base be sufficient?

Fishscale skis work fine on the Turquoise Lake Road but you will need skins on the steep climb from the road to the hut.

Hey grahamlove, that's a good question about Uncle Buds. I've never been, but it sounds like you are assessing the terrain. Makes me wonder if there is a love tester for terrain! Haha. Seriously though, I imagine climbing skins would be helpful if there is any steepness or icy patches that could cause issues with those bases. Better safe than sorry maybe?

Interesting question! I haven't been to Uncle Buds, but I'd guess climbing skins would be helpful, depending on the conditions. It reminds me of how sometimes I think I know a song instantly, like on Heardle, but then I need all the seconds! Is that link for a Heardle archive? Sometimes I check Heardle after playing for a bit of a challenge. Scalloped bases might do the trick on a gentler slope though, so maybe test it out!
